OMG, they catered for me twice already. Always on time and food was great. Very picky eaters on this side and Nelly's never disappoints. The prices for catering are reasonable and they are not stingy with the portions. Pernil, chicken and rice were on point for my wife's birthday. So much that it was requested to order a pernil for my little one birthday too. Don't forget dinner there too. Enough tables available and food there great. Take a trip and enjoy.

While I was visiting Newburgh, I decided to give Nelly’s a try because I absolutely love Dominican food. It did not disappoint!!! I had white rice, stewed beans, baked chicken, sweet plantains, and lime with a Tamarind Jarritos to drink. OMG! The flavors were great! Not to mention the ladies behind the counter were very friendly and the sit down area to eat was beautiful, clean, great ambiance with Spanish bachata music playing in the background! I would definitely visit this restaurant again if I am in Newburgh! Buen Provecho!!!

Visited Nelly Latin Restaurant At Newburgh today, and I must say that I walked out very impressed with the food and service! At Nelly’s they specialize in Dominican food and desserts. They have affordable prices and the place has a great atmosphere. You can order online through Grubhub, takeout, or dine in. Don’t forget to ask for their natural juices (since these are not visible in the self serve fridge) made from tamarindo (tamarind) and chinola/maracuya (passion fruit). Lastly, don’t forget to add a flan or tres leches to your order. I promise, you won’t be disappointed! I am happy to have found the perfect Dominican spot near me. Have eaten here twice so far and will definitely be going back! I had the chicharron with oxtail sauce or stew sauce over it and it was to die for! Today I tried some type of eggplant dish that was also AMAZING! I can’t get the food back to my hotel room! I taste it in the car and end up eating the whole thing in their parking lot! I literally want to go back in right now and get more. Don’t listen to negative reviews, give this place a try for yourself! YUM!!!

I loved going to this restaurant, excellent food, the meat had a very good flavor, I recommend it 100/100, the customer service was excellent, I am not one to recommend but I have to recommend this place because I felt very comfortable, the only thing I saw that they should improve for my taste was the texture of the rice, I go back and say for my taste and the rest was super excellent, so if you live or visit Newburgh do not miss going to this restaurant if you want a good, nice, and cheap meal

Wow!!! Amazing food. Meat flavorful & tender. Best potatoes we have ever had. Dont even get me started on how goo the rice & beans are. Large portions for a good price, we'll have leftovers for days! Staff was extremely attentive, friendly, & helpful- especially with us asking a million questions. Atmosphere is cute & cozy. Will come back next time we're in the area!
